The resort sits on its own peninsula in Poste de Flacq, deliberately set apart from the busier parts of the east coast, with the main highway five minutes away and most points of interest a half-hour's drive beyond that. Bras D'Eau National Park lies just inland, a stretch of coastal forest that breaks up the drive to Grand Baie in the north. The seclusion is the point: the northern beach faces the open Indian Ocean with loungers and outdoor showers, while the lagoon-side beach stays calmer and more natural, used far less than the main stretch.
